Description
A quick and delectable dish featuring chewy noodles, tender beef, and savory sauces, perfect for any dinner table.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz of noodles (egg noodles or any variety you prefer)
- 1 lb of beef (thinly sliced – flank steak or sirloin work best)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon of ginger (grated)
- 2 green onions (sliced – for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Follow the package instructions for boiling your noodles. Once tender, drain and keep them aside.
- Heat the skillet: In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add the sesame oil.
- Sauté aromatics: Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir them for about 30 seconds until they are wonderfully fragrant.
- Brown the beef: Increase the heat slightly and add the thin beef slices to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar until combined. Pour this mixture over the cooked beef in the skillet.
- Combine noodles and beef: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together. Ensure the noodles are evenly coated in that rich sauce.
- Finish and garnish: Serve the sticky beef noodles hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that touch of elegance.
