Description

A creamy and comforting pasta dish that’s quick to prepare and loaded with flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 1 pound cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (about 1 ounce)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium. Add shredded chicken, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir frequently as the cream cheese melts, about 3–5 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss gently so the sauce coats each piece. If the sauce seems too thick, stir in broth until you reach desired consistency.
  4. Sprinkle in shredded cheddar and crumbled bacon. Stir just until the cheddar melts and everything is evenly combined. Remove from heat.
  5. Transfer to bowls and top with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

Swap chicken broth for milk plus a splash of stock for a milder sauce. Add Greek yogurt off heat for a lighter finish. Fold in baby spinach for added greens.
