Description
A quick and easy one-pan meal featuring tender chicken and buttery garlic noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Start by chopping the garlic and any vegetables you’d like to include.
- Sear the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Add the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper. Sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to let it burn.
- Add the broth: Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Cook the noodles: Stir in the egg noodles. Reduce the heat and let them simmer for about 8-10 minutes, or until they’re al dente, stirring occasionally.
- Finish the dish: Once the noodles are done, remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the remaining butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a twist, consider adding vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes during the last few minutes of cooking.
