- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and optional spices like garlic powder or smoked paprika.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and place the seasoned chicken inside.
- Brush each chicken breast generously with BBQ sauce, then dollop ranch dressing on top.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle crispy fried onions on top.
- Allow to rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or grilled corn. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
