Description

This mango slaw is a bright tropical cabbage salad made with juicy mango, crunchy cabbage, carrots, and fresh herbs tossed in a zesty lime dressing. It’s the perfect refreshing side for tacos, grilled seafood, or summer meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Peel mangoes and slice into thin matchsticks
  2. 2. Shred green cabbage and red cabbage
  3. 3. Julienne carrots and thinly slice red onion
  4. 4. Chop fresh cilantro
  5. 5. Whisk lime juice olive oil honey salt and pepper
  6. 6. Combine cabbage carrots mango onion and cilantro in bowl
  7. 7. Pour dressing over slaw and toss gently
  8. 8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed
  9. 9. Serve immediately or chill 10 minutes before serving
