Description
A vibrant dish that combines zesty lime with tender chicken, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Mix the lime juice, avocado oil, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to form a marinade.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- Once done, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- Serve topped with fresh cilantro and sliced avocado.
Notes
For best flavor, use freshly squeezed lime juice. You can also substitute avocado oil with olive oil.
