A delightful blend of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors in grilled chicken thighs marinated in pineapple juice and soy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced ginger, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper until well blended.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and ensure each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes.
- Grill Preparation: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Chicken: Remove chicken thighs from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
- Serve with Style: Sprinkle some chopped green onions on top before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate overnight. Can substitute chicken thighs with chicken breasts, but they may yield a drier result.
