- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch until well covered.
- Dip the coated chicken into the beaten eggs, then roll them in flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a separate pan and heat until warmed through.
- Transfer the fried chicken to the pan with sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
