- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (25 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Make sure everything is blended well.
- Assemble the Roll-Ups: Start by flattening each slice of bread. Spread some melted butter on it, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously, and then roll it up tightly.
- Cook the Roll-Ups: Dip each roll in the egg mixture, ensuring they’re coated, then place in a preheated skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve: Remove any toothpicks used to hold the rolls together (if you opted for that). Enjoy them warm right off the skillet!
Notes
