  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, half of the Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken to the pasta mixture and distribute evenly.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
