A quick and easy sheet pan dinner featuring caramelized sweet potatoes, savory Italian sausage, and a sticky honey-garlic glaze.

- 1 pound sausage (Italian or your choice)
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment for easier cleanup.
- Toss the cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated. Spread them on one half of the sheet pan in a single layer.
- Arrange the sausage on the other half of the pan, either whole or sliced into 1-inch pieces.
- Whisk the minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until combined.
- Drizzle half of the honey-garlic sauce over the sausage and sweet potatoes; reserve the rest for during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring the sweet potatoes halfway and brushing remaining glaze over the sausage.
- Remove from the oven, let rest 3–5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra caramelization, broil for the last 1–2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
