Description
A delightful homemade lemonade infused with the flavors of ripe peaches, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups filtered water (divided)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Begin by placing the sliced peaches in a blender, and purée them until smooth. If you prefer a silkier texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
- Juice your lemons until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of water with the granulated sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine the peach purée, lemon juice, cooled sugar-water mixture, and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Serve the lemonade over ice in tall glasses, and feel free to garnish with fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for an extra touch!
Notes
Adjust the sugar based on your sweetness preference or substitute with honey or agave syrup for a natural twist. Best enjoyed within 3-4 days.
