Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish infused with BBQ and ranch dressing, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the shredded chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and uncooked pasta. Stir together and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and let simmer uncovered for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente.
  4. Once cooked, stir in the cheddar cheese and diced red onion until melted and creamy.
  5. Ladle the pasta into bowls, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Consider using homemade BBQ sauce for extra flavor. Frozen leftovers may change in texture when reheating.
