- 2 cups Steamed rice
- 2 cups Mixed vegetables (such as broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots)
Instructions
- Mix together soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey (or sugar), and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let them soak for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to a medium-high temperature (around 375°F).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding any excess liquid.
- Cook the chicken by grilling for about 6-7 minutes per side, or bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve the chicken hot alongside steamed rice and mixed vegetables for a complete meal.
Notes
For an extra charred flavor, finish cooking the chicken on a high-heat grill for the last few minutes.
