  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Pound to even thickness if needed.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cook without moving for 5-7 minutes until golden. Flip and cook another 5-7 minutes until nearly done.
  5. Pour the honey-soy mixture over the chicken in the last 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the chicken as it reduces.
  6. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), then transfer to a plate and let rest for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Spoon any remaining glaze over the chicken before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, swap soy sauce for tamari or coconut aminos. Feel free to add fresh ginger for extra flavor.
