Description

A sweet and savory dish combining the rich flavors of honey and butter for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until it’s completely liquefied.
  2. Stir in the honey alongside garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 75°C).
  4. Baste the chicken with the honey butter sauce from the pan while cooking to infuse flavor.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a plate, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

You can substitute chicken thighs for darker meat or use agave syrup instead of honey.
