Description
Quick and flavorful air fryer garlic butter mushrooms perfect for any meal, ready in under 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces mushrooms (cleaned and sliced in half)
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Smash the garlic: Take your sharp knife and finely chop the garlic cloves. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on top. Using the back of a wooden spoon, smash the garlic into a paste; this helps unleash its full flavor.
- Toss the mushrooms: In a large bowl, combine the mushrooms, melted butter, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and the garlic paste you just made. Toss the mushrooms until they are fully coated in the mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 385°F (approximately 196°C) and allow it to preheat.
- Air fry the mushrooms: Once preheated, place the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Serve: Once done, carefully remove the mushrooms and let them cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed alone or garnished with fresh chopped parsley for that finishing touch.
Notes
Serve as a side dish, on toast, or in salads. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
