A simple and delicious meal featuring chicken cooked slowly in a creamy sauce, served over angel hair pasta.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the chicken is done, shred it in the crock pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture over the cooked angel hair pasta and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté some garlic or onions before adding them to the sauce. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of spice.
