Ingredients

- 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully lay the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant; don’t let it burn.
- Pour in your choice of cream, stirring continuously to combine.
- Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning or oregano, along with parmesan cheese, and mix until smooth.
- If adding spinach, stir it in now and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic sauce over the top.
- Allow it to simmer together for about one more minute.
- Serve hot, enjoying with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes!

For a vegetarian twist, consider using plant-based protein. Adjust garlic and spices based on preference for added flavor.
