- 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the chicken in the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add minced garlic into the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream, then add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and combined.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce. Let simmer for an additional minute.
Notes
Serve over pasta or rice to soak up the sauce. Garnish with parsley for an extra touch.
