- 1 cup ripe tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the diced tomatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Let them simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring until well combined.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, ensuring every strand is coated.
- Serve topped with fresh basil and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
