- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken until it’s golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet.
- Lower the heat, add butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to deglaze the skillet.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat with the sauce.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or vegetables, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Pound the chicken to an even thickness for even cooking. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens for the best flavor.
