- 1.5 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 12 oz Egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium Chicken broth
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper; add them to the skillet. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour in the chicken broth, allowing it to come to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the egg noodles, cover the skillet, and cook until noodles are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the noodles are cooked through, stir in the heavy cream and let the sauce thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top before serving, if desired.
Notes
Feel free to substitute chicken with rotisserie chicken or use mushrooms/tofu for a vegetarian option.
