- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente then drain
- 2. Season chicken with salt pepper and paprika
- 3. Heat oil in skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through then remove
- 4. Melt butter in same pan and sauté garlic until fragrant
- 5. Stir in Dijon mustard lemon juice and red pepper flakes
- 6. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently
- 7. Add mozzarella and Parmesan and stir until melted
- 8. Return chicken and pasta to skillet and toss to coat
- 9. Add pasta water if needed to loosen sauce
- 10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot
