- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the chicken by trimming excess fat and seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
- Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Sauté the mushrooms by adding remaining butter, garlic, and sliced mushrooms in the same skillet until golden.
- Make the sauce by adding heavy cream and cayenne pepper, allowing it to simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine the chicken with the sauce, letting it coat well before serving with fresh parsley.
Notes
Chicken can be substituted with thighs or shrimp; use olive oil for a lighter version.
