- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup broccoli, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast; make sure not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the broccoli mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the stuffed chicken if desired.
- Drizzle olive oil over each piece and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked thoroughly (internal temperature should reach 165°F), and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to retain moisture.
Notes
For best results, flatten chicken breasts before stuffing and season generously inside and out.
