- 1 package red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Additional whole Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round springform pan.
- Combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Add the crushed Oreo cookies and mix until just combined.
- Spread the cheesecake layer over the cooled red velvet cake and smooth it out.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Finish by drizzling with milk and topping with additional whole Oreo cookies before serving.
Notes
