Description
Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, these air fryer potatoes make a perfect side for any meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ lbs baby potatoes (creamers or small Yukon golds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (or smoked paprika)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: grated parmesan, chopped parsley, chili flakes
Instructions
- Wash the baby potatoes and pat them dry. Cut each potato in half; quarter any larger ones so pieces are uniform.
- Place the cut potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss well with a spatula or your hands until every piece is evenly coated in oil and spices.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes while you arrange the potatoes.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket — avoid overcrowding. Cook for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for tenderness with a fork; the exterior should be golden and crisp while the interior is soft.
- Remove to a bowl and toss with grated parmesan and chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure potatoes are cut to similar sizes for even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
