Ingredients
Scale
- 12 thawed frozen dinner roll dough balls
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2–3 tablespoons canola oil
- A splash of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the dough: Cut each thawed dinner roll dough ball in half and roll each half into a snake, about 6 inches long.
- Twist the dough: Wrap one snake around the other, creating a twisted shape.
- Brush with canola oil to help them crisp up nicely.
- Let them rise: Allow the twisted dough to puff for about 15 minutes.
- Air fry: Place the twists in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 7 minutes, flip them, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Create the dip: In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Whip until smooth and creamy.
- Serve warm with the cream cheese dip on the side.
